Light filtered through the treetops. “Where am I?” was my first thought. I got up and looked around. The second time I looked around I saw a small beagle tied to a tree. “Wait, how do I know this stuff. I don’t even remember anything from before I woke up.” I untied the rope and made it into a leash.
“I’ll call you Tucker.” I said. The name sounded familiar, and right. Having no idea where to go, I let Tucker lead the way.
Suddenly, a voice said “Hello there,” making me jump.
I looked all around and saw no one. Then, someone dropped out of a tree. It was a boy, short, with light brown hair and green eyes. He was skinny with thick arms.
“People seldom look up” he said, chuckling.
He looked familiar.
“Oh, I almost forgot to introduce my self, I’m Xeruis, what’s your name?” he asked.
“Will” I said.
I heard a rustling above us.
A girl dropped out of a tree. She was tall, with long, dark brown hair, and aqua blue eyes.
“The name’s Terria,” she said.
“Oh shut up, we were just in the middle of a conversation,” said Xeruis.”This is my friend, Terria.”
“I just said that,” she cut in, obviously annoyed.
” Good friends” I said sarcastically.
” I like you already,” he replied.
“Where are we?” I asked
“Lorrtera.” he said.
